About 80 degrees, mostly cloudy, a breeze of maybe 5 mph. Very comfortable.
Fairways were reasonably firm and one could typically get a nice bounce & roll. Rough was playable but I was not in it much. Greens firm and one had to hit a nice high shot to hold them.
We started on #11 - shotgun.
My driver was hot. I hit every tee shot on the sweet spot and really hit everything exactly where I aimed with one exception (even that was fine).
Lag putting was a disaster. My first couple were woefully short and I had to pull off a couple miracles to 2 putt. Then I started hitting everything too hard. Never really had a good feel for the speed and as such did not really have a good run at some birdies.
Was assigned the "B" flight. My "net" score was "66" and I finished 4th in the "B" flight. Ha ha ha - I have to sandbag a bit better. Finished T6th out of 109 players on a gross basis.
