Started at 63°, overcast skies and a 10 MPH breeze out of the South. Today was the first day our course was open since the "monsoon" hit last week, and the maintenance crew did an outstanding job getting it ready for play after all the flooding. I played very well today, but I did play in a scramble tournament yesterday (we took 2nd place with a score of -13) and did since Id a recon of the course on Friday since I'd never played it before. It was good to be able to "shake the rust off" prior to the tournament, and it paid dividends today. All phases of my game were "on go" today, so there really isn't much I can say, other than it is good to be playing again. I hope my good luck continues. A high school UIL tournament is being played at our course this next week, so I don't know exactly when I'll be able to play again, but Friday for sure. I'll let you know. :)
