Started at 57° with a 4 mph breeze which increased during the round. I managed to do a lot of things right today, but nothing better than being able to think clearly and plan my shots before I addressed the ball. My driver behaved itself today and my short game was sharp. I still had 2 3-putts but overall I putted quite well. As I said earlier in the year, one of my goals this year is to shoot my age. I was on target to do just that today, but unfortunately I managed to 3-putt the last hole to lose this opportunity--this time. Another round awaits me tomorrow, weather permitting. I'll enjoy my successes tonight and go to the course in the morning with zero expectations, at least that it the plan! :)
