Played with Bernie and Mark. Played okay, but driver not quite right and too many doubles on par 3s. Bright point of the round was eagle chance on 9th. Hit a great drive, best of the day. Went for it with 3 wood and put it on the green. Tough, tough 40 foot putt, up the hill, over the center ridge with a high left pin. Read it perfectly. Hit it near perfectly with excellent speed. Ball rolled 1 inch by the hole and stopped within a few inches for a tap in birdie,. I think that's the only time I ever got to that green in two. But after double bogeying 8th felt like, what the hell, go for it.
Played a very good stretch from 9th through 13th. Things kinda crashed after that with the exception of an up & down par on the par 3 17th. The only par 3 I parred all day.
Been playing the white tees because blue tees are not available to us right now. Closed down for winter repairs. Still gotta get the ball in the hole, which ain't necessarily that much easier at Worthington.
