Played with Bernie. Kinda warm. Near 70. What a difference. White tees still the only tees available for play right now. It was warm enough to play blues, but they won't be open for another month.
Drove the ball well for the most part. Double bogey on 2nd after pulling approach left of green on side of hill, pin high. Tricky pitch up to short sided pin. Came up a foot too short and stayed in rough. Then chip went 4 feet past and I missed the putt. Lovely. Got it together after that and finished the front with a tap in birdie, 2 over par. Was feeling good going into the back nine, but things didn't go my way, even though I made mostly good swings. A yank on approach to 10th, into bunker, plus a couple 3 putts and a bad swing on my approach on 14, basically ruined the round.
Overall, playing well. Hoping I can continue the smooth swing I have been gaming lately, next week in Florida.
