Walked the back nine. Low 40s, but the last day for awhile that is expected to be playable. Weather questionable for the foreseeable future. Temps in the 30s into next week seems like will put a slow down on the great level of play I have had over the last week.
Continue to have very good ball striking all around. The ball is just jumping off the face of everything from driver through wedges. I am still playing nearly the same iron distances as I did in the summer. Maybe playing a couple yards less, but not the typical 10 yards or more that I usually do in winter. Even in the low 40s, I continue to play from the blue tees and feel totally comfortable. Distance was not really a big concern. New AP3 5, 6 and 7irons are phenomenal. Love them. Should I add another? Maybe an 8i?
Score is good, but frankly, I was practicing. Hit at least 2 balls on every hole. Sometimes 3 or 4. Just kept amazing myself with the way I am hitting the ball.
I do not want to take a winter break. My game feels on the verge of getting noticeably better.
