Unbelievable start. Chip in birds on 3 of the first 4 holes! None lucky. All exactly as envisioned in pre-shot routine. All executed exactly as planned.
Been playing extremely strong lately. Driver is getting better and better. Still no problem playing the blue tees in the cold weather. Had a 260 yard drive on 4th. 240+ yards up and over the ridge on 9th. Feels great and shoulders don't hurt.
Irons crisp all day. Went over a few greens due to better than expected distance, so GIRs were low, but play and swing was great. I am hitting the ball further in the cold with the new irons than I was in 80 temps a few months ago. New tempo has been fantastic. When will the bottom drop out?
Got really slow and the back was worse, so went around the front a second time to get in 18 holes today. Disappointed I couldn't get the back in with the score I had on the front and the back being a couple strokes easier. Could have been a good one if I played the back like the front. In any case, still had a 41 on the 2nd time around the front.
