Driver sucked. Can't seem to find what was working so well last week. Grasping at straws all day. Losing everything right. RIGHT! My miss is usually left, not right. I am in trouble right now. Hit the worst drive I have ever hit on 2nd, right of the cart path into the high cabbage.
Have to find that sweet tempo I had working so well last week.Had way too many bad shots today. Not just driver. Wasted one of my better drives, on 9th, with an absolute terrible shot out of the left rough that barely moved 80 yards. Decided I would go for the green, still 205 out. The damage was already done on the previous 8 holes. Gave it a shot, hit it good, but caught some high branches and fell directly under the tree. Hit a little low PW punch shot so as to get under low branches, but it rolled off the back. Then a downhill flop from there, close.
Back was a bit better, but was still not hitting driver well at all. Birdied the 18th with a terrible drive, way right, making the hole play 50 yards longer. Great 3W from the rough. 9i to 10 feet and a great putt.
Nice 205 yard par on 17th with 3W to 15 feet. 17 and 18 were the only two satisfying holes all day. My whole game was off today.
