It was not as epic a collapse as it appears. We started on #5 so the "10" actually occurred mid-round.
It looked like it was going to rain all day but after an hour or so of light rain, the precipitation stopped and by the end of the round, it was partly sunny. As the rain stopped, the wind came on strong (steady 20 mph with gusts to 30). Never got above 79 degrees.
I had a horrible ball striking day. I never felt comfortable over the ball and hit some real stinkers (see the "10"). On the other hand, I couldn't seem to miss with a putter in my hand. I opened the round on #5 and made five straight one putts. Chipping was decent and once I got close to the hole, the putting seemed automatic.
