Played with Will and Brian. Did not hit the ball as well off the tee today, but still had decent distance and drove the ball longer than Will and Brian more times than not. Just couldn't find my draw that I had working so well yesterday, that is until the 18th, of course. Finally hit a great drive there. Then a 200+ FW leaving me only 50 yards to pin. Way short with my pitch resulted in a 3-putt bogey and a sour taste in my mouth after such a great drive and 3W second shot.
Irons were strong again. Putting was fair, at best. 2 birdies were from great approaches, leaving me inside 6 feet on both, not from long lucky putts.
We wanted to play the blues and I wish we did, but Brian wanted to play whites and since he is Will's boss at the club, we followed the leader. Feel like I have been hitting the ball better off the blue tees lately.
