Sunny, around 70 degrees, little wind. Perfect.
My granddaughter, wife and I played a modified alternate shot scramble. Everyone teed off. We then took the best drive and everyone hit from there EXCLUDING the person who hit the drive. So for example, on #1 we took my drive so just Gabriela & Josie hit the next shot. Then, depending on which of them hit the better shot, I joined the other in hitting the 3rd shot. Once on the green, we all putted.
I set as our goal "50" figuring the two ladies would butcher many of the approaches and short game shots. I was pretty proud of the two of them bringing us in at "45" since they rarely play. If I had played better we might have threatened "39".
