80's, sunny, strong breeze of around 10-15 mph. At least a club.
Fairways firm and rolled out well. Greens accepted a well struck shot. Rolled moderately quickly and were smooth. Course was in very good shape.
I got moved up to the "A" flight and played with 3 gorillas. One of the longer par 4's on the back I hit a decent drive and crushed a 3-wood into the wind to get on the front edge. Another guy in the group hit driver and then 9 iron.
Still, the course was set-up perfectly for me, especially the front nine. I hit driver-wedge a lot. A couple longer holes into the wind required fairway wood or hybrid but I hung in there well. My short game sort of abandoned me a bit on the back, unfortunately. Had a lot of easy chips and putts from the fringe that I turned into 2-putt bogies when I did not get close enough to the hole.
