Speed golf with Ben and Matt J. Stepped out of the car to practice putting and chipping, but Ben approached and suggested we go play nine. It was 7 pm. Matty saw us on the tee and asked to join us. He didn't know what he was in for. Speed golf doesn't fit his style, but he joined us for a wild ride. We finished in 1 hour, 3 players, two carts.
I played well once I got the first few (cold) swings out of the way. Hit ball into hazard off 2nd tee, but found it and took unplayable, then got up and down. Then on 3rd, my 2nd shot 4w caught tree limb and bounced into left lateral. Another penalty drop. Hit the ball well the rest of the way. Actually, even the one that caught the tree was well hit. Had 3 or 4 birdie chances and missed all the putts by very small margins. Coulda been a low one.
