Me and Keith played Richie and Ben. Gave them 2 strokes a side. We won. Played okay, but driver is still a bit off. Birdied 2nd and 15th, but doubled too many times (4) to have a great score. Had a couple bad iron shots, but all in all, hit them pretty well. Was having some issues with 4W off tight lies today due to the firmness of the turf. Was unsure standing over the ball. Turf interaction was not what I was expecting, consequently I lost some confidence with the 4W.
Right shoulder got pretty sore. Rain came on and off throughout the back nine. Missed PW approach on 10th because I knew I needed a 9i to get there. Rather than walk all the way back to the cart, about 70 yards away, thought I can just step harder on the PW I carried over to the ball. Instead, I jumped on it too much and got it very fat. Disappointing. Actually maddening. I KNEW I didn't have enough club. Should have gone back to the cart to get the right one. Would have swung in tempo and probably put it close. Oh well.
