Overcast, high 60's, maybe a 5 mph breeze. Nice but cool.
Fairways were a bit soft from recent rain but there was a bit of bounce. Generally played long. Greens would accept a well struck shot. Smooth and rolled moderately.
Played with three board members of MPSGA including Michigan Golf Hall of Fame member, Jim Briegel. Jim turns 90 this year. He out drove me on most holes by 20-30 yards. He shot 75 including a tap in birdie on #18. For those of you who may be math challenged, that is 14 shots under his age. Jim & I were a team versus Jim Mlynarczk and Tom Ahern. We cleaned their clock. One of the best times I have had on a golf course.
As to me, my short game was nothing short of amazing, including a sand save on #18.
CeeBee says:Proof that you have many years left to bang the ball around. Nice shooting.
