Low 50s to start. Low 40s at finish. Played with Keith and Ben. Out of season scoring round. Another bad start, actually more of an unfortunate one. Hit a good drive on 1st, then a 9 iron from 128 out, which landed over back of green. Short with the chip, then 3 putted for double. Then on 2nd, pull hooked a 7 iron into drink. Got very pissed, 'cause the guys in the group behind us were standing and talking loudly on the blue tees a few yards behind us.I heard it in my back swing and locked on to the distraction, pulling the shot badly. Was so mad I tossed my club a good 10 yards towards the cart. Haven't thrown a club that far out of frustration in years. Hated that I did it. Just lost it. Started to get my game somewhat back together after that, but the damage was done. Even shooting a 4 over on the back nine wasn't enough to give me a desirable score for the round.
Had to wear a glove on my right hand due to all the skin cracking, but didn't put it on til the 6th hole. It was about that time that I started to hit the ball better. Just a coincidence, I suppose.
Barely made it in before dark and we started at 12:06. More cart problems. Needed 5 between us to make through 18 today.
