Cold & windy. Wind chill around freezing. Quite uncomfortable. Found my driver swing again. At least on the front. Hit 6 of 7 and the one I missed was only by a yard. Had good control until my back started to tighten up again. Back nine got worse and worse, till almost as bad as last weekend. Did not play as poorly as the score indicated. The wind was making things very difficult, particularly on the greens. Had 2 3-putts on the front. It was too cold to stand still on the greens. I just stepped up and putted. For the most part, hit irons and wedges well. Had a bunch of bad luck and ended up in three different bunkers on shots that felt really good, but were blown back. Actually two of those were on the same hole. On 15, hit my drive nicely, or so I thought, but the wind backed it up and it just caught the far end of the fairway bunker. Decided to lay it up, so hit it perfectly out with a 9i to just before the lateral hazard. Then hit a PW perfectly, but again the wind knocked it back into the greenside bunker. That was a tough hole for me today. Weather looks cold for the next few days. Still hope to get in another by Sunday if back isn't too bad.
