Played with Keith. Much colder today. Only in the low 50s. Terrible, terrible round. I could not swing properly all day. Back was so sore. Took 3 Advil to start round, then 3 more on the back nine. Could not turn through the ball. Popped up more balls in one round than I normally do in a month. Driver was way off, but even popped up 5W once or twice from the rough. It was an embarrassing display. My trusty chipping didn't even help much. Put a few close, but should have been able to do a lot better. Kept coming up way short. Even my putting was way off. Speeds were faster today, compared to Friday. Had 2 or 3 3-putts. Missed many easy ones that could have saved at least 3 more pars and a few bogeys. It was sad. I can't remember the last time I ever couldn't wait to finish. Not even because I was playing so poorly, but more because I was so uncomfortable. My back is so tight right now I can hardly move. I am sure hitting an extra bucket of balls after Friday's round didn't help it, since it was already sore then. Better take a few days off to give it a rest. Maybe just a little chipping and putting practice for the next few days.
