Played 11 holes. Went out at 4pm. Quit at 5:30. Have the driver working well right now. Distance is pretty decent, but accuracy is spot on. Hit the center of the fairway on every drive. Most were good distance. Only one was maybe 10-15 yards shorter the the others due to it having a bit of a cut, but still ended up in the middle. It was on the 6th. Left me with PW in, so it didn't hurt at all.
Had trouble on 8th after topping my approach into the left fairway bunker. Hit 9 iron out, just short of green. Chip and two-putt for double. Otherwise, front nine was okay. Happy with driver.
Played 10 and 11 as well, both in par. Made a good PW approach and GIR from fairway bunker, about 110 out. On 11th, hit hybrid off the tee a bit left, right on the hazard line. I was standing inside hazard, but ball was outside, still in play but way above my feet. Played a 9i out to the right expecting it to go left from the hook lie, but it went even further left than anticipated. Landed pin high but a few feet off green in rough. Chipped it to a few inches to save par.
