Played with Ben. Went off on the back. No warm up. Just rushed out. Took a couple holes to find the game, but eventually started hitting good shots. Ran into a foursome on 15 which slowed us down and ruined our rhythm. We skipped 16, played 17, then went back and played 16, just to avoid waiting. Kind of worked against my comfort level. Though played 17 okay, hit 7i wide right off tee on 16 which I then put in bunker. Out to 6 feet, but missed bogey putt. On 18, hit a good drive, then caught a tree on approach with 6i which ricocheted out to center of fairway, 85 yards out. Stuffed a sand wedge to 4 feet to save par.
Once we crossed over to the front, my game picked up. No one in front of us, no one behind. Played comfortably. Hit good drives, lots of fairways and chipped and putted pretty well. Pretty decent round overall.
