Warm evening. Was going to go to range, but it closed early, so went out with intention to practice alone and work some things out. Started playing well right out of the gate. Rolled off back of 1st green on approach but chipped to 18" to save par. Same thing on 2nd. Hit 24* just off back of green. Chipped to 6" to save another. Good drive on 3. Good 3H 2nd shot. then 8i to pin high, but just off green on right. Chipped a little long for two-putt bogey. GIRs on 4 and 5, then on 6th, hit sand wedge approach a little too easy and ended up in bunker. Just misjudged how hard to hit it. Only had 82 yards to back pin. After landing short in bunker, dropped another ball for the hell of it to try a longer swing. Hit it to 6 feet. Should have done that the first time. Two more good drives on 7th and 8th. Parred 7th with GIR, then ended up in greenside bunker on 8th approach. 2 putt bogey. On par 3 9th, pin was back, playing about 185 yrds. Hit 24* off tee but came up well short on front of green. 3 putted. Only 3-putt of day.
