On and off light rain. Started well with good drive and 9 iron to 7'. Made birdie. On 2nd hit 6 iron to 15' and 2 putted for par. Hit 5W in place of 3H in most situations today. First attempt n 2nd shot on 3 was not good, but then hit it again from 200 out and just came up to the left of the green, not really short at all. Chipped to 6 feet by, but missed save putt by an inch or so. GIR on 4th. Hooked left off tee on 5 into lateral hazard. Penalty drop in deep rough. Then worm-burner into fairway bunker. 8 iron from bunker onto green and nice 2-putt. Hernia was already bothering me, or maybe it is the torn hip labrum. Who knows, but it was quite uncomfortable. It seems to be getting worse and really affecting my tee shots. Have to force a finish. Not pleasant feeling. On 7, hit drive a touch left, into rough. Finally got my draw to work, going around the trees and into the fairway just in front of the green. With a little better lie, I'm sure it would have rolled much further and certainly onto the green. Trouble off tee on 8. Into crap on other side of cart path. Tried to hack it out with 5i, but only moved it about 50 yards, if that. Then hit 24* hybrid into far left fairway bunker. Got it just to front of green, but chipped it wide right and missed bogey save putt. Good up and down par on 9. Played the first four holes on the back okay, but as usual, 14 got me. Drove it into left lateral water. Penalty. Then couldn't make green 'cause I dropped over 225 yards out. Came up 20 yards short of green. Pitched over bunker to 4', but missed the easy put to save bogey. Another double. GIR par on 17 and another good drive on 18 over the bunkers on the fly, to 142 yards out, in left rough. Hit a good approach but the rough cut down on the contact and I came up a couple yards short of the green. Chipped to 3' to save par. Not a bad round, but hernia is really concerning me. Putting was quite good. Last couple rounds been putting more by feel instead of using a strict line. Putting has been solid.
