Cool breeze, but very nice. Went out at 4:15 with Ben onto a packed course. There was no way to finish 18 so we played the front nine, then jumped back to the front and played 7 or 8 more holes of which are not recorded here. Played fairly well. Driver was on fire for all 16 or 17 holes we played. Long and straight, with a very slight draw on many. Hit every fairway except one and that one landed dead center in the fairway, but the draw spin helped it roll just off the fairway, into a very playable position. Had many very long drives. Had a few poor swings. On 2nd, hit tee shot into water. Took S&D penalty, then hit next shot to 4 ft to save bogey. On 7, after a great drive, topped my approach into hazard. Was able to go into hazard and whack it back into play (rather than take penalty drop). Then hit PW pitchip to 5 ft, but missed bogey saving putt. Also, on 8 after another great drive, duck hooked a 3H into lateral hazard. Again, was able to get a club on it and punched it back to fairway, but the damage was done. Hit another hook off tee on 9th w/3H, which left me with a 60* wedge shot up the steep hill, which came up short of the green rolling back down 1/2 way, then another to 3 ft and 1 putt to save bogey. A poor finish on the last three front nine holes ruined a decent card otherwise.
