Cold. 40s. Didn't think I'd get in 18. Was only planning to play nine, but course was empty and I flew. Finished in 2:20. Played very well for the most part. Pulled off an unbelievable pitch from inside the hazard stakes to the left of the green on 5. Ball was in deep crap with a tree in my backswing. After surveying the situation, I was just hoping for a better lie than I might have gotten with a penalty drop. Somehow, without grounding the club or touching anything, I was able to get the ball out using a full body turn through the ball, even though I couldn't take much of a back swing. Surprisingly, I landed it on the green and almost made the 30 foot putt to save par. I had already expected to double bogey the hole when I saw my lie, so walking away with a bogey was satisfying. The cold air kept everything short so played one extra club for most shots and it paid off. Hit irons very well. Two nice chips to tap-in distance save a couple pars too. Very nice round today, in spite of the cold and my sports hernia issue.
