Played from the blue tees today, with Neal since he was playing them and it was only the two of us. Held my own with him, out driving him on a number of drives. They were all the way back on the par 5 third, playing about 585 yds. Still reached pin high in three, though just left of green. Nice pitch up, but missed par save. We played the back nine first. Started with nice par, then on tough 12th, with tees way back, made birdie after a great drive, and near perfect 4H approach from 190 out to 8' and made putt. Was the best hole of the day. Skulled a 6 iron on the par 3 13th, but straight where I was aiming, onto the green. Unfortunately 3-putted. Considering I was not driving the ball all that great today, playing from the blues did not hurt my score much, though did hurt my GIRs.
