Played with Ben again. Played okay for the most part, but couldn't get any breaks. Missed two easy putts on 2 and 3 which should have been par saves. On first came up short on my approach by about 1 foot. Fell back into pot bunker. Hit near perfect approach on 3, but it did not bite and rolled off the back of the green and down the hill. Pitched up with 60 degree wedge to 6 ft, but couldn't make the putt. Missed by an inch. Seems my whole game was off by about an inch today. Drove the ball extremely well the entire round. Had good distance and kept it in the fairway or just slightly off on every shot. My approaches were not up to snuff though. A miss left, a miss long, a miss short a miss right, yet all were only off by a few yards which was usually enough to make my up and down attempt harder than nec. Had a few bad mid iron approaches, but otherwise, the rest of the game was just a tic off.
