Started foggy, misty, mid to high 50s. Fog got so thick by the back nine that finding well hit shots became difficult. Could not tee off without driving halfway down hole in cart to see if there was anyone out there ahead of me.
Played quite well overall. Had driver working again. Did not hit one poor shot today, though there were a few off target a bit. On 14, hit what I thought would be the best 5W of the day into the fog from 215 out. Unfortunately, I could not see the green through the fog, so was just guessing where it would be. The ball left the clubface right on line of where it was aimed and seemed as if it would be on the green. But, could not find it when I got up there. Finally found it in the left greenside bunker. Damn! SHot of the day was a 40 yard 52* pitch to 6" on 4th. Putt of the day was a 27 ft sidehill slider on 13 to save par. I felt it was going in the moment I hit it. Worst shot of day was my drive on 9 into the lateral hazard on left side. Cost me a penalty stroke, then had to drop in deep rough. So my third shot out was not very good either. Actually took me 5 to get on, or so I thought, but my 165 yard 5H approach rolled off the left side and down the hill. Pitched up with a 56* to about 5 feet and saved double.
A good round overall. Course was empty due to weather.
