Misty, foggy, damp, cold, raw. Wasn't actually planning to play, but no one on the 1st three holes was too much to resist. Quick got a cart and flew on out after hitting about 8 balls on the range to warm up. Blew the 1st hole, but then had a really good front nine. Back was not so good as the weather deteriorated. Fog got real thick. By the last couple holes it was ridiculous. 8th hole was my highlight of the day after reaching in regulation with a 9 iron to 11 feet and making the putt. Then on 9th, chipped from off the green by about 2 yards, to 1 ft to save par. Chipping and short pitching continues to be my strong point. Without the trouble on the first, and some bad luck on 4th where my drive wasn't bad, but an unlucky bounce left me right up against and behind a tree, I easily should have broken 40 on the front. A little more bad luck on 10 and two 3-putts on the back hurt my score as well. Overall, an unexpected decent round in pretty poor conditions.
