70 degrees, overcast. Started out with great 258 yard drive straight down middle. Hit gap wedge long into green. Bounced off back by 5 yards. Made nice up & down with 15 foot putt for par to begin round. On 3 went slightly right into long fescue grass and weeds. Found ball inbounds and hit it out of deep stuff with 8i. Surprisingly, was able to move ball 100 yards or so, even though long fescue grabbed hosel. Couple nice back to back pars on 5 and 6. Trouble on 8. Landed in fwy bnkr and had to pitch out w/7i. Then a poor 3W, poor 7i and decent 56 finally got me on the green. 2 putt for double bogey. Started back with a par on 10 and what should have been a par on 11, but 3-putted. Then skulled a 9 iron on 12 right of green, then chipped through and finally 2-putted for double b. On 15 had to play provisional. Made par with provisional, but penalty added 2 more for another double. Other than the aforementioned, round not bad. 6 pars for the round.
