Really good round today. Played with Jay and Adam who were here on business and playing Woodbridge for their first time. I started out great with 2 pars and a birdie on 3 after hitting 3H off tee to 7 feet from 205 out. That felt great after making the 7 footer. By this point Adam was psyched out by my play. I was just waiting for the wheels to fall off, but they didn't, other than a little bad luck and one bad hole (the 10th) which I ended up keeping under control by scrambling pretty well. Putted well, though missed a few short ones that could have saved 3 or 4 more strokes and given me a couple more birdies. Was liking the speed of these greens. Felt very comfortable putting on them, a complete 180 from the first time Keith and I played them earlier this season. Hit many nice 5Ws today, one, from 212 yards out onto green, nearly hitting the pin and rolling past about 14 ft. (on the 14th). Missed the birdie putt by an inch and tapped in for par. I'll remember this one for awhile. This time my play felt even better than my score. Only complaint today was with my driver, which wasn't bad, but I felt like could have been a few tics better and would have saved me another stroke or two. Played the same Titleist ProV1x all day. Hit 9 of 18 greens in regulation and nearly 70% fairways.
