Finally played Great River. First time. Played with Keith and Richie. Very disappointing round, particularly since my game is in the dumps right now. As usual, chipped and pitched okay, but driver was a problem again. My Fairways Hit average is dropping fast of late. Have not been able to follow thru on swing, which, I am assuming is as a result of hernia discomfort. Whenever I forced a full turn, the ball went straight, but the discomfort increased. In any case, this is a tough course, but one I am sure I can play well when I am not dealing with these physical issues. Had more sand shots and penalty strokes in this one round than I can remember in any round.
