Played solo. Decided last minute. Got there at 2:30. Done by 5:10. Hot. Driver was not as straight as normal. Too much cutting action on most drives, though not terrible. Bad bounce off fairway into crap on 2 left me with no real chance to get close. Also, went too far right on 4th. Hit fairway, but cut spin took it well right with no clear path to green. Almost got up and down with 65 yard pitch to 7 ft, but missed putt. Finally hit a good drive on 5. Blue tees were playing all of 612 yards, as shown on the card. Tees all the way back and pin at back of green. Monster hole. Drive still reached where I usually reach from white tees. Had no side spin whatsoever. Unfortunately, 3H from there was weak, as was the next 3H. Left me 53 yards from pin in right rough. 60* wedge and two-putts for bogey. Finally parred 7. Then 9. Really fought to stay in the round. Better back nine. 2nd best drive of the day on 18. Left me 7 iron in from 140 out, up the steep hill and into the wind. Landed it on the crest of the green front and released 5 yards past hole. 2-putt par. Good finish to what was a mediocre round for the most part. Timing was a little off with tempo.
