Was planning to play 18, but between the 92* heat and humidity, and the slow playing league on the back 9, I quit after playing the 10th. Wasn't worth the wait on every hole in that heat.
Played okay again. Other than a tough 5W shot from the extremely thick rough right alongside the fairway on the 9th, hit nearly every shot pretty well. Only one partially bad drive which got me out of position on 7th, with no shot at green. Pulled it long and left off the tee, then had to punch out 90* to the fairway. Then put my 7 iron approach a little right and short. Pitched with 60* to 11 ft and made the putt to get up and down for bogey save. Best shot of day was off the par 3 3rd with 5H to 8'. Missed putt though. Tapped in for par. On 4th hit PW approach to 4 ft and made that one for birdie. Disappointed I didn't play 18. Had a decent score going. Played the same ProV1x ball that I played the entire round with yesterday. Getting my money's worth from that ball.
