Sun got a very cold day to a much more playable one, so snuck out of work at 2 and squeezed in 9. Certainly wasn't as good as previous round, but I did hit the ball very well with the new irons again. Just couldn't get my driver to go straight until the 7th hole. And on the par 3 6th. Hit green off tee with hybrid up the hill, but it trickled off to the right and down the steep slope about 5 yards. Hit a nice 56 degree pitch, but came up a little short and even with the hole on the very sloping green. Made a good stroke which i hit well high of the hole to allow for the slope. Had it almost perfect Ball made the turn south, right where I expected it to with the perfect speed....or so I thought. It slowly trickled to the hole, but lipped, picked up speed, and continued 9 ft down the hill. I hate that green. Missed the 2nd put by 6 inches short coming back up the hill. Finally made the 3rd for double. Nice approaches on 7 and 8 for GIRs. Knocked 36 footer in for bird on 8. Considering the temps, it was a decent round, albeit only nine. Just happy to eek out another day this late in the year. Only supposed to be in the high 30s next couple days. May have to skip them. We'll see....
