Started out okay, but then ran into a twosome who thought they were both Tiger Woods, however, were at least 25 or 30 cappers. From the time it was their turn to hit to the time they actually dribbled it out another 50 yards, it took forever. They both did everything that a tour pro does between shots, in slow motion. It would take 2 minutes for them to actually swing once they got to the ball, and then would usually hit (or miss) the shot badly. How does it take 6 or 7 minutes on every green for only 2 players? They definitely need a lesson in pace of play etiquette. These two guys were really upsetting my rhythm. I finally skipped a hole to get around them. There was a two-hole opening in front of them before a foursome of two retired-aged couples (who started just ahead of them on the first tee). How does THAT foursome play faster than the Tiger Woods twosome?
Anyway, I'm ranting. Elbow tendonitis was really bad. Gave me lots of swing problems. Score was far better than game. Putting saved me most of round. No 3-putts. Should give the elbow a good 5 or 6 day rest, or more, but I probably won't. Maybe a cortisone shot is in the near future.
