Gorgeous afternoon in the mid 80s with a nice breeze. Played the front nine pretty well until I got to the 8th. Landed in a patch of long fescue, right of the fairway. Got out of it but was well short of green. Hit a 60 degree wedge and still came up short trying to take a little off a full swing. Finally chipped on to this very tough, extremely sloping green and proceeded to 3-putt from 15 feet. That hurt. Saved par on the par 5 9th after duffing my 2nd shot only about 100 yards. Hit a 7 iron for my 3rd shot from 150 out, onto the green, but 29 ft from the pin. First put caught edge of cup but didn't go in. Tap in for par. Could not hit the ball straight on the back other than a perfect drive on 11. Everything started leaking more right by mid round. Between the tendonitis in my left elbow and the two bad shoulders, I'm sure my subconscious was compensating for the pain with an altered swing, which didn't work very well. Played with two Joses on the back, Jr., and Sr. Nice guys. Otherwise, the back nine sucked.
