Still a long way from comfortable out there...and I was playing so well at the end of last year, just before the surgery. Oh well.
Took most of the front nine to figure out driver. It was tempo. Isn't it always? Chipping and short pitching was pretty good. All my practice is paying off. Pitched in from deep rough on 5th. Two more up and downs on the back nine. Inconsistent iron striking throughout most of round caused most of my problems. Losing confidence in A7 hybrids, which I hit well when I got them last year. Thinking about switching back to old Nike CPRs until I can find something I like.
Shoulders both sore before round due to work. Even so, was able to get through round without too much pain, just discomfort. Lots of icing later.
