Nice day. Terrible play on my part.
It started out around 55-60 degrees and quickly warmed to 75. Sunny with a breeze of about 15 mph.
The course was in good condition with some very healthy rough. Greens rolled well and were very firm.
I picked a bad day to have an inconsistent driver. I hit some very nice drives, cut the corner where needed, etc... Then on some holes just couldn't get the job done and hit weak drives into the rough, OB, etc... Even my buddy the Little Irish Bastard beat me (although he called off our standard bet since he had lost something like 19 of the last 20).
My sand play was poor as was my chipping/pitching. Had a chance to make a few 4-6 footers to salvage something but missed most of them, too. Just a bad day, one I hope I can forget quickly.
