95 degrees, sunny with a 25 mph wind. Hot, sticky and difficult to play.
Course was very firm & fast. Most shots were rejected by the very firm greens.
I did not even have my "B" game and barely kept it under 90. The pace of play was the worst I have experienced in 24 years of playing this event. It took 5 hours and 43 minutes to play 18 holes and we waited on every shot on every hole. We had a 30 minute delay on the 2nd hole and I called the clubhouse and suggested they hold all the groups yet to tee off because we had 3 groups on the 2nd hole (a par 3).
After the day I sent a nice but pointed email to the course manager and tournament director. I pointed out that not a single person appeared to care about the pace of play.
