50 degrees, partly sunny, a breeze about 5 mph or so. Greens had been aerated a coupleweeks ago. Looked okay but still a bit bumpy and slow. Fairways were firm and allowed a pretty good roll.
Tee to green I was good but once I got close, it was a comedy of errors at times. I don't recall putting this poorly in a long time. Missed several 3 footers to turn pars to bogeys and bogeys into others. Oh well, time to think about next year and get the handicap up! At least I finished with a bit of grinding and kept the score under 90. When we made the turn and I saw the awful front nine total, I said, "Looks like I need to shoot 40 or better on the back to avoid the 90's."
