55 degrees, sunny, 15 mph breeze. Nice.
Fairways shaggy and the rough was up to 6 inches around the greens. Preparations are in place for closing next weekend. Greens were probably the best I have ever seen. Smooth, quick and in many cases, flawless (unlike my putter).
Most of the ball washers are in, the tee markers removed and the rakes stored away. Selling off the last of the inventory. Water jugs gone and the trash barrels will follow soon.
Fitting end to the season that I could barely hit the ball. Several embarrassing chunks and skanks interspersed with the occasional well hit shot. Tough day. Sigh, the season is drawing to a close.
