The Metal-X line of putters features a steel head with a black, non-glare finish and an inner urethane layer for soft feel. The aluminum oval face-pattern is designed to lock with the ball's dimples at impact, creating friction and imparting consistent roll.
The #7 Arm Lock was introduced in 2013 after the USGA's anchoring ban. The center-cutaway mallet has weighted alignment wings and an arm-length double-bend shaft.
JONNY63 - 1/2/16 Changed to this putter after talking to club pro who had tried one. Could see from my stats I was losing shots on the green, three putting regularly. The transformation has been dramatic! Some rounds mid twenties for putts and have come down two shots this season to 7. It imparts a great roll on the ball and has given my putting a consistency and accuracy that I have never had. The bonus was I also got it for £75 new.
