The LaCosta, rarest of Scotty’s original seven Titleist models, is a heel-shafted mallet with a plumbing hosel and toe hang for a pronounced closing gate effect. Only 3000 were made before the model was removed from the line in late ‘95 due to trademark issues. An earlier version of this putter, the Scottsman 947, also had a limited run. Both are highly collectible.
