Many stories have been written about the money and effort poured into this remarkable Tom Fazio design, and that it was previously open only to a privileged few. Fazio redesigned portions of the course in 2008. Access is now available for registered guests at one of the Las Vegas MGM Mirage properties.

Set in the mountains with no views of desert outside, it has a North Carolina feel. The course was redesigned by Tom Fazio in May 2008 and Reopened December 2008. Course is now 7,580 yards and PGA Tour ready. Course Record was 60 by Fred Couples and Tiger Woods. Current course record is 69. Firm Fast undulating Greens round out the challege. Water comes into play on 9 holes and the course has 63 Bunkers. Shadow Creek has a great double ended range with a 7 Acre short game area with 3 Tees and 4 target greens and numerous bunkers.
