Fox Haven Golf and Country Club boasts the most northerly grass greens in Alberta. The course opens in early May, and you can enjoy the game until after Thanksgiving weekend (Canadian Thanksgiving is in early October) and sometimes even until the third week of October. If you visit mid-summer, you can play golf until the wee hours of the night. In fact, they used to have a midnight open that actually began at midnight. The event is still being held only at a more reasonable hour!
