Wasn't sure what to expect from such a new course, but we were pleasantly surprised. Played it from 7300 yards, which definitely demanded good drives all day, but with few tall trees the fairways are wide open. Great greens with challenging deep bunkers. Agree with the reviewer above - at least make range balls part of the green fees.

Not a bad track. Well kept course with greens that roll quick and reasonably true. When the trees grow in it should be nicer. They should really stop charging for range balls.

Played for the first time and found it in excellent shape and the greens were playing hard, fast and true. Greens were the best I have played for a long time, maybe too hard and fast for beginners.
Great layout and stay out of the bunkers as they are deep and very penial if you don't like sand.
Played on a windy Calgary day and it played tough into the wind. Very enjoyable recommend it for any player.

Played the course at the very end of the 2012 season and was pleasantly surprised. It's a fair course with generous fairways and greens that are gently contoured. No trees to speak of (yet) and the rough is not unduly punishing. Conditioning was just fine for the time of year. Hence, it is a good course for newer golfers and although scratch players may find it isn't as challenging as they might like, it offers the opportunity to score low... and that's always fun! Because I played on a weekday in late October, the course wasn't too busy but I foresee grave pace of play issues around hole 6, a potentially drivable par 4 over water. I visualize some clowns pounding ball after ball into the lake trying to reach the green and plugging up play. I sincerely hope it will be monitored to assure reasonable pace of play.
