This rather unique course is maintained without any machinery or irrigation - a throwback to the turn of the 20th century, really. It dates to 1922, although George Thomas and Tom Simpson did a formal layout in 1933. The course was abandoned in 1939, around the start of World War II, but was recently reopened and restored.

The course is accessed by purchasing a ticket at the Brijuni Tourist Service office in Fažana, then taking a 15-minute boat ride to the island. The day-rate is €30, while sliding rates are available for multiple-day play.
