Scovill Golf Course was built in 1916 and was then an elite country club. It has very beautiful scenery w/ a lot of 100 year old trees. The fairways are in very nice shape except for 13-15 where the all straddle a creek. When the rains are high, the creek floods, leaving those areas always under water and then the grass gets killed off. When the summer turns hot, those areas are always rock solid, spotty, with very bad surfaces to hit your second or third shot off. Other than those holes, this is an excellent course.
