Played in their Autumn Open and it was fantastic. The course is tough and with 40mph winds it only made it harder but I will play it again.
I will play more irons of the tee and less drivers as you need accuracy over distance.

Tough course with long carries over heather that some may struggle with - particularly into the wind and you need your sand game to be on top form if you stray into the vicious bunkers - getting out of most is a triumph!

Due to heavy rain most bunkers were flooded, for a championship course and the home of English Golf there were too many areas that appeared in need of attention

Lovely course bit more inviting off the tee than Hotchkin.However accuracy and good short game required for testing greens and well placed bunkers .
