Ålands Golfklubb boasts two 18-hole courses. The Slottsbanen (Castle Course) is an open parkland design by architect Jan Sederholm that opened in two stages, the first nine in 1983 and the second nine in 1988. The Kingsbanen (King's Course) was built over land that was part of the famous Kastelholm estate of King Gustav Vasa. It features far more trees and a tighter layout. The six-hole Prinsessan ("Princess") is a short course designed by architect Peter Fjällman that is ideal both for beginning players and experienced golfers looking for a short-game exercise.

While Åland is part of Finland, Swedish is the primary language.

The standard walking rates are €50 on weekdays, €63 on weekends (carts must be booked in advance at €45, €25 for golfers with a medical certificate). Junior, twilight, and 7-day rates are available, as are memberships.
